Michael Nee practices as a psychotherapist at 13101 W. Washington Boulevard, Suite 454, Los Angeles, CA 90066, working with clients from Marina del Rey, Culver City, Santa Monica, Playa Vista, Venice, Westchester, Palms and Del Rey, and by telehealth throughout California.
The practice covers individual therapy, couples therapy, adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, therapy for men, chronic illness, and sex and sexuality as a certified sex therapist.

About Me
My Story
Since 2009, I have been involved with and even served on the board for the California Circle, which is associated with GIFRIC in French Canada. I am also affiliated with the California Forum, which is associated with the International Forums of the Lacanian Field. Both organizations include academicians, clinicians, and doctors from around the world.
Teaching undergraduate psychology classes (since 2015) and graduate classes (2021), including clinical practicum, made way for attending a PhD in sexology, Fall 2021. Completion of coursework and the passing of comprehensive exams took place in 2024. I remain “all but dissertation” toward my doctorate goal, with a thesis examining the neurology, psychology, and sexology of adult couples contending with ADHD. A return to research and writing is slated for 2027.
I am a lifetime member of California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (2008 – present); annual member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (2021 – present); and an annual member of Society for Scientific Study of Sexuality (2020 – present).
