How to Choose Where to Start
Most people arrive knowing something is wrong, sometimes without having a name for it; that is a perfectly good place to begin. If you are not sure which of the therapy services listed above fits your situation, the consultation call sorts it out — often within fifteen minutes or less. When more time is necessary, not a problem.
A few common starting points: if arguments repeat on the same loop, begin with couples and relationship therapy. If focus, follow-through and emotional regulation are the daily struggle, begin with adult ADHD. If worry has become physical — sleep, chest, stomach, jaw — begin with anxiety. If desire, intimacy or sexual concerns are the quiet center of the problem, couple sex therapy or sex and sexuality is the direct route.
Who These Services Are For
Since 2009, clients to this practice have come from the arts, entertainment, real estate, academia, medicine and technology, alongside entrepreneurs, their partners, their families and their friends — heterosexual and LGBTQ+; married and unmarried; monogamous and otherwise. What they share is less a demographic than a moment: something has stopped working, and doing more of the same is no longer an option.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Consultations are free and run 15–40 minutes. To begin, call (310) 927-1755 or use the contact page.
